Katie McDonald RN, MN is the manager for Maritime Child Health (MCH), a new IWK Health program focused on improving health outcomes and care access for children and youth across the Maritimes. Using a learning health system approach, MCH brings together researchers, clinicians, decision-makers, and patient partners from across the Maritimes to support optimal health and well-being for children and youth. As a registered nurse practicing in pediatric care at IWK Health for the past 15 years with experience in education, clinical leadership, and service planning, Katie is passionate about integrating evidence-based care and equitable care access for children and youth.
