Akumalik Tikivik

My name is Akumalik Tikivik and I am from a small community on Baffin Island, Nunavut called Kimmirut. I am a Social Cultural Navigator
at Tunngasuvving Inuit and I’ve been on this role since September 2017. I help Inuit families that come to Ottawa for medical appointments.
I go to CHEO at least once a week to visit in patient families and also deliver programming at Larga Baffin, a medical boarding home, twice per week.
