Taylor Johansen is based in Ottawa, Canada. She is the Director of Neurodevelopmental Health at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and is appointed at the CHEO Research Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Life Sciences from Queen’s University, a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa and is a Robert Wood Johnson award recipient. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton, Volunteer Ottawa, and the Ottawa University Alumni Association and is a member of the Canadian Chapter of the American College of Health Executives (ACHE). Taylor has been named one of Ottawa’s Forty Under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal (2021), was listed as a Young Executive Leader by the International Hospital Federation (2021) and has received the Telfer School of Management Young Achiever’s Award (2022).
Taylor has worked in healthcare leadership in Canada, Ireland, and Australia. Her experience spans home care, social rehabilitation, and hospital services. She is a mother to two young daughters and has a passion for supporting young women in leadership.
