Jill Kimber is the Respiratory Therapy Clinical Educator at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), where she brings her clinical expertise and passion for patient safety to the forefront. With a wealth of experience in critical care, mechanical ventilation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Jill is dedicated to enhancing patient safety and quality of care.
In 2023, Jill completed a transformative one-year fellowship in quality improvement at CHEO, which has been pivotal in shaping her approach to identifying and contributing to initiatives that enhance patient safety within the respiratory therapy department and critical care units. Jill is committed to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Beyond her clinical and educational roles, Jill is a mentor and advocate for professional practice development. She has led mentorship programs, supported the growth of her colleagues, and played a key role in implementing practice changes that make a real difference in patient care.
