NICU Advanced Practice Nurse

Cynthia Joly is an Advanced Practice Nurse (Clinical Nurse Specialist) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). She holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Ottawa and is certified in Neonatal Nursing through the Canadian Nurses Association. Cynthia has worked at CHEO over 20 years in various roles, such as a bedside RN, Nurse Educator and as a Research Nurse. In her role as the Advanced Practice Nurse, she leads the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and projects in support of transitions for infants with medical complexities from the NICU to other inpatient units.
