Clinical Nurse Educator for Paediatrics

My name is Emeline Stevensonbut I go by Eme ("Emmy"). I have my BSc (biochemistry), BScN, MN, RN, I am the Clinical Nurse Edutor (CNE) For Inpatient Paediatrics & Outpatient Clinics at North York General Hospital. I love bedside nursing and still work as a casual nures at SickKids where I originally began my nursing career in paediatric oncology. I am passionate about both paediatrics and education, which is why I am in my current role. I love being able to provide education to the paediatric team at NYGH and help bridge the gap between tertiary centres and our community centre. I am passionate that paediatric patients are able to get the best, safest care possible, and want to create as positive of an experience as possible. In my educator role, I sit on many of our hospital commitees to help ensure that the lens of our smallest most vulnerable patient is always heard and acknowledged.
