Leanna Isserlin, MD, FRCPC, is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. She is the Chief of Psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the Medical Co-Director of the Pediatric Eating Disorders Service. Dr Isserlin has worked as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist specializing in eating disorders since 2009, first at London Health Sciences Center, in Ontario, Canada and then at the Centre of Excellence for Eating Disorders at the University of North Carolina Health Sciences Center, in the USA before moving to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in 2014. Her areas of interest in research include improving the delivery of treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders and improving outcomes through understanding factors critical to success.
