Health Standards Organization (HSO) and our affiliates, Accreditation Canada (AC) and the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare (IQMH), are global, not-for-profit organizations united by a vision for safer care and a healthier world. Our people-centered programs and services have been setting the bar for quality across the health ecosystem for more than 65 years. We continue to grow in our reach and impact.
 
Health Standards Organization develops standards, assessment programs and quality improvement solutions that have been adopted in over 14,000 locations across five continents. HSO is the only officially designated Standards Development Organization dedicated to health and social services. Global standards developed by HSO meet requirements of the International Society for Quality in Health Care.
 
Accreditation Canada empowers and enables organizations to meet national and global standards with innovative programs that are customized to local needs. AC assessment programs and services support the delivery of safe, high‑quality care. Our specialized accreditation and certification programs support safe, high‑quality care for specific populations, health conditions and health professions.
