Join us for #ChildHealthCan2025!
Children’s Healthcare Canada invites you to join us in Ottawa, Ontario on April 14 and 15, 2025, at The Westin for our 2025 Annual Conference, Right-Sizing Health Systems for Kids: Creating the Future Together.
For Conference 2024, our theme was
Right-sizing Health Systems for Kids: Navigating to brighter futures. In 2025, we are building on the knowledge shared, connections made, and momentum generated in 2024, and the theme for the 2025 conference is,
Right-sizing Health Systems for Kids: Creating the future together.
Children’s Healthcare Canada, our members, and strategic partners, including family and research partners, are on a mission to right-size healthcare systems serving children and youth.
We will know we have been successful when all children, youth, and families have timely, simple access to an integrated system of the health services and benefits they need, flexible to each child’s and family’s needs, that enables the best potential for every child, youth, and family in Canada.
To that end, at the conference in Ottawa, we will seek to answer the following questions:
- What do right-sized health systems for children and youth look like? (Organizationally, regionally, nationally)
- What is required to achieve right-sized healthcare systems for children and youth?
- What are the roles of healthcare professionals, not-for-profit and charitable organizations, governments (F/P/T), philanthropy and the corporate sector, family partners, and the public in right-sizing health systems for children and youth?
- What data are required to inform right-sizing efforts and know we have been successful?
- What are the short-, medium-, and long-term actions required along the right-sizing journey?
- Where should governments start, if they sought to address system underinvestment in child and youth healthcare?
- What are the costs of delays in children’s access to essential services?
- What impacts for children, youth, families, and society could be achieved through investments in health systems serving kids?
Invited guests and leaders from the children's health and healthcare community will tackle themes including the political determinants of health, intentionally designed healthcare systems for children and youth, growing a pipeline of children’s healthcare leadership from within, how AI and Precision Health are helping to deliver personalized, data-driven healthcare, and getting kids on the platforms of all major parties in Canada.
Pre-conference Hives on Sunday, April 13 include, but are not limited to Transition to Adult Healthcare, Child and Youth, Mental Health, Family Partnership, and Healthcare Communications.
